A Legacy of Woods and Waters
Harry Bell (1875-1944) and Winthrop Guild (1866-1958) take out a stringer of trout from a local brook. Harry, the son of James H. Bell, married a girl from Phillips, settled there and became a hardware merchant. Winthrop, known as "Wint", was a machinist and moved to Dixfield before 1900.
